Rally for Fair Contracts at NYU

T h u r s d a y
April 21@12:30pm
Bobst Library, NYU
70 Washington Square South

Four years ago, NYU and GSOC bargained an historic first contract that drastically increased wages and improved benefits for graduate employees. Now, NYU is trying to hide behind a reactionary NLRB decision that stripped graduate employees of their organizing rights.

Join NYU graduate assistants, adjuncts, clerical and technical workers, and security and service workers, along with striking graduate assistants from Columbia University, to tell NYU President John Sexton to be fair to all campus workers.

Support Striking Students at Columbia and Yale

Graduate teachers at Yale and Columbia University are fighting the recent NLRB ruling. Refusing to cede their right to form unions, these graduate teachers are demanding that their universities voluntarily recognize them. Teaching assistants from Yale and Columbia will stage the first ever joint strike in the Ivy League, April 18-22.
you can sign an online petition here

Info on the strike at Columbia can be seen here, and Yale's strike update center is here.
